N41

The Nordhavn 41 continues the legacy of the legendary N40 in a slightly larger, more modern package. As a current production model, it brings Nordhavn passagemaker philosophy to buyers seeking a manageable size with genuine offshore capability.

For buyers, the N41 offers the smallest entry point into current Nordhavn ownership. The design prioritizes efficiency and simplicity, making it suitable for owner-operators. Range and tankage are appropriate for coastal cruising and island-hopping, with limited ocean-crossing capability.

Compared to the legendary N40 it replaces, the N41 offers more interior volume, updated systems, and modern construction techniques. However, it comes at a significant price premium—$2M+ new versus $400-600K for a well-maintained used N40. The N41 also competes with the N46 Mk II, which offers twin engines and more range for about the same price but in a larger package.

The trade-offs include modest interior volume compared to larger models and systems that may be tight for maintenance access. Buyers should consider whether their cruising plans align with the N41 capabilities or whether a larger model like the N475 or N52 would better suit their needs for extended cruising.
